The Golden Valley Agricultural Research Trust (GART) is a Public-Private Sector Partnership (PPP) Research Institution promoting Sustainable Agriculture through Adaptive and Applied Research.
GART wishes to invite applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill up the following position, at the GART Head Office, Chisamba.
POSITION: EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
Key roles and responsibilities
- Provision of Administrative and Secretarial support to the office of the Executive Director
- Take Minutes at Management and Board Meetings
- Make travel and accommodation arrangements
- Proofread and edit documents as assigned.
- Maintain electronic and paper records ensuring information is organized and easily accessible.
- Support communication both Internal and External
- Knowledge of MS Office, and be familiar with CCTV footage reading and website management.
Basic Qualifications
- Full grade twelve certificate with a credit or better in English and Mathematics
- Should have a minimum of a Diploma in Public Administration, Business Administration or any related field.
- Extensive experience in office management – 2-5 years of experience
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Must be between 25 to 40 years of age
