Agritech Expo

 The Agritech Expo is one of the biggest business platform for agricultural technology exhibitions in Southern Africa, which paves way for agricultural  companies, farmers, researchers and policymakers to showcase their innovations, exchange knowledge and discuss challenges faced in the agricultural industry. It is also an opportunity for networking, business development and staying updated with the latest trends and advancement in the agricultural sector. The event takes place over three days and attracts mainly commercial farmers, local and international Exhibitors from different countries. Next year, the Agritech Expo will take place from 16th to 18th April 2026

GART NATIONAL SEEDFAIR (GNSF); AN EVENT FOR ALL

The event takes place every year at GART farm in Chisamba in the month of October. This year the event took place on 9th and 10th October, 2025. The event is open to everyone who wishes to interact with seed companies and other input providers just before the farming season.
The main objective of the GNSF is to facilitate a platform for both farmers and input suppliers to share ideas and conduct business in a more convincing manner just before the beginning of the farming season.
The GART NSF focuses on demonstrating a live crop or renowned technologies promoted by different seed companies in Zambia, with a goal of information sharing, marketing and decision making. It is a one stop agriculture business center with numerous benefits for both smallholder farmers and input suppliers.

GART PASTURES AND LIVESTOCK FAIR (GPLF)
The GART Pastures and Livestock fair is an event that takes place in Batoka, Choma. Similar to GNSF, GPLF has live crop exhibitions from different seed companies in Zambia. This event’s main focus is pastures and livestock exhibitions. The event took place on 30th & 31st October, 2025.

Benefits of GNSF and GPLF
1. The events allow farmers to have an opportunity to visually compare agronomic traits of the crops and varieties marketed by seed companies in Zambia.
2.. Farmers get the chance to see and learn various breeds of livestock and feed processing companies.
3. The live crop displayed by various seed companies also helps farmers to make informed decisions on the type of crop to plant in the subsequent season.
4. Both fairs create a platform where farmers can directly interact with plant breeders, agronomists and other agricultural professionals on how to optimize the management for higher profits. 
5. Offers an opportunity to input suppliers to market and sale their products.
