This is an event that was initiated by the Zambia National Farmers Union (ZNFU) in partnership with GART to create a business platform for agricultural technologies. The Agritech Expo is an annual event that started in 2014 and has always been graced by His Excellency, the Republican President. The event includes crops, livestock and agricultural equipment demonstrations. Free Technical workshops on improved methods of farming are also conducted to ensure increased uptake of technologies by the farmers. For a period of three days the event attracts thousands of participants, hundreds of commercial farmers, and dozens of local and international Exhibitors from around the world.
